Congradulations to all!St. Patrick’s Day Dinner/Dance - 3/14/2008Our St. Patrick's Day Dinner/Dance on March 14 was enjoyed by all who attended. We were surrounded by music, a video clip was shown on St. Patrick History, and we learned how to prepare corn beef and cabbage along with Irish stew.Four dance instructers demonstrated five ballroom dances, then we tried our luck and had FUN. Many thanks to the Rainbow young ladies that did a great job in support of making the evening enjoyable. The instructors were great! Stated Communication - 3/11/2008On a stated communication, we found an EA proficient and ready to advance to FC. We then found Bro Don Stiechen proficient in his FC degree, and he was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason. Congradulations to both!Emergent Communication - 2/28/2008On an emergent communication, the Grand Master of Masons for the State of North Carolina, David Cash, visited the 14th and 15th District hosted by James B Green Lodge. We had 115 Masons at dinner and 130 attended the emergent communication. Fifteen of our JBG lodge were in attendance and each helped to make to RAISE FUN! Congradulations!Friends & Family Potluck Dinner - 1/29/2008Our Friendship Night was a great success with 50 people enjoying a covered dish dinner and Brother Don Bennett’s Ventriloquist/Comedy Act, Rainbow, DeMolay, Eastern Star, and our Lodge presented their programs, Children of all ages had a great time.Entered Apprentice Initiation - 1/23/2008On an emergent communication, we initiated 3 new Entered Apprentices.2008 Installation of Officers - 1/05/2008The installation went fine with 47 in attendance plus Rainbow and DeMolay members serving the luncheon. Many thanks for their excellent service. Our Eastern Star Chapter catered our first meeting's meal on Jan. 8. It was greatly appreciated. The meatloaf and trimmings were delicious. |
